When life has very less to offer,
Yet one doesn't need to bother,
When chances dry up,
And challenges vanish like puffs of dust.
When there isn't much to fight for,
Still one gets ready for a war,
When attempts get thin,
And one discovers there isn't much to win.
Life turns short, yet matured,
Being less still well - natured,
The ripe fruits are sweet to eat
Though there are hard seeds within it.
Whatever life gives is a gift,
And loss shouldn't make us weep,
For all that we can extract,
Give the measure of our deeds.
