Within the quiet

ME

The gentle company of the self.

Read the complete poem
Life seems too long for me, Sorrow is around me, wherever I see, Joy never seems to pass by my side, Pains are so much that I can't hide. Life is for me a dry river, Sadness is loyal, Joys come never. I hanker for affection and love, But every time I get bluff. Life for me is sorrow's flood, Which washes off all joys. I'm on the sea shore, Thinking of life that has become so bore. I try to make friends, And later I have to repent, Coz they always take advantage, True friend I'll not get till old age.
