Two hearts, one horizon

SHARE THE ROAD

Where two lives lean closer.

Read the complete poem
Do not promise me a life Where no sorrow will arrive, Promise only that in hard days We will keep truth alive, And neither heart will need To silently hide. Bring your dreams with you, I will bring mine too, We need not lose ourselves To prove that love is true, We can be one journey With two different views. When I walk too fast, Call me back by name, When your courage becomes low, I will do the same, No victory will be only mine, No failure only your blame. Let us keep some laughter, Some foolish talks at night, A cup of tea after long days, A small lamp giving light, For love grows in little things, Not only moments bright. The road may turn anywhere, That no one can foresee, But walk with honesty beside me, And let me beside you be, Not ahead, not left behind— Just together, yet free.
