Winning is the main thing,
But the contest should be challenging,
If you win, the other losses,
If you lose, its your opponents win,
Any time the pendulum can swing,
Yet, let the result be anything,
Aim always for the peak,
Even though the path be steep,
Everything that's fair you can do,
Yet keep the temperament within,
Win or lose shouldn't cause a cry,
Always keep the spirit high,
A win can give you fame,
But a loss shouldn't give you shame,
Challenge is what matters,
So the spirit shouldn't be shattered.
