Two hearts, one horizon

WHEN I'M ALONE

Where two lives lean closer.

Read the complete poem
Often, when I'm alone, Engrossed in my thoughts, A thought comes to my mind, Sweeping off the earth-- Below my feet, Making me weep, Sadness entangles me, Life ceases to move ahead, What would I do without you. How would I live, How would I face, This cruel world, What would I do, If I don't get you ? How would I survive, The painful arrows, On my heart. Since you came around, Life has taken a U-turn MY thoughts have got, Just confined to you, You have shown me what is love, You have given me the hope, To survive, You are my shining star. Yet often when I'm alone, Engrossed in my thoughts, The thought comes to my mind, How would I live... If you are not my better half.
