Two hearts, one horizon

WHEN YOU'RE AWAY

Where two lives lean closer.

Read the complete poem
When you're away, Life seems to have lost its glow. When you're away, Time doesn't seem to flow. When you're away, why, I don't know, But I feel so alone. You're my darling, You're my everything, You're my angle, You're my path, That takes me out of danger, You're my soul, You're my heart, You're my appendage. That can't be ripped apart. Since you went away, The trees don't seem to away, The river has gone stagnant, There are no flowers in the garden today, I may lack in words, But please leave that apart, All I want to tell you, You mean more than, All the words on earth, Put together could say.
