Two hearts, one horizon

WHEN YOU WALK BESIDE ME

Where two lives lean closer.

Read the complete poem
The road is still the same old road, With dust and turns and daily load. But when your footsteps walk with mine, The smallest mile begins to shine. We do not need a grand display, Or perfect words for every day. A cup of tea, a patient ear, Can make the farthest dream feel near. When clouds arrive and plans go wrong, Your steady hope can make me strong. And when your courage feels too small, I’ll stand beside you through it all. We may not know what years will bring, Which winter waits, which sudden spring. But trust can be our guiding star, And keep us close, however far. Love is not only hearts that race, It is a calm and faithful place. And every road feels kind and free Whenever you walk beside me.
