The everyday, illuminated

BACKBITERS

Life, observed in full colour.

Read the complete poem
They aren't someone, Who bite you on the back, Neither are they dogs, Running behind you, They are more dangerous -- Than that. They are someone--- Who express your short comings to others, They find fault in you, But don't dare to tell -- Straight at your face. Will speak about you -- When you are not around, With added pepper and salt. They have short comings as well, But consider themselves perfect, They pretend to be your friends, But are the deadliest enemies, They don't like what you do, And will tell it to --- All except you. They are friendship breakers, Create differences at heart, So, take my word --- Tame snake, but never--- A back biting mate.
