Love enters softly, without pride,
And sits through storms at someone’s side.
It does not ask the world to see,
It works in quiet honesty.
Love listens when the words are few,
And hears the pain behind them too.
It does not rush to prove it right,
It brings a candle to the night.
Love celebrates another’s gain,
And does not turn their joy to pain.
It gives respect, it gives them room,
Like sun that helps a garden bloom.
Love knows that hearts may disagree,
Yet kindness keeps them both still free.
It bends at times, but does not break,
And learns from every small mistake.
Love is not only sweet surprise,
Or stars reflected in two eyes.
It is the choice, through change and weather,
To walk with care and grow together.
